Wynoochee Youth Cow Elk x 2

Looking for a good starting point.  Both daughters (12 & 15) drew the Wynoochie rifle youth cow elk hunt.  Both individuals draws too.  I have the Weyco Aberdeen permit but am hoping for some direction to spend some time scouting with the girls.  Want to keep up the excitement of possibly making this happen.  Is it worth trying to get Rayonier access permit too?  I sent a general email to Region 5 6 (corrected) looking for info but no response yet.  Thanks in advance for any pointers.

I don't know the area but I would say that e-mails are generally not going to get answered, particularly right after the draw.  Call them up and keep trying until you get an answer and have targeted questions as opposed to general stuff like where to hunt or where the elk are.

Appreciate the advice.  I have a few on the list to ask.  One is private land depredation.  Don't ask don't get.  Will start making calls towards end.of month once the fever from draw dies down.

That's in Region 6. I would call the WDFW office in Montesano. Try email too. Not sure which way is better right now, but someone working out of that office should be able to help.
